"Thanks to AMU and ambulance service"

(as a relative),

My Dad was brought in to AMU, by ambulance, who were absolutely fabulous and couldn't do enough to help my mum, he had a very nasty infection and was very confused and barely conscious. The staff couldn't do enough for him and treated him with so much dignity and respect. They were very quick in getting him assessed and giving him antibiotics and fluids, they also explained everything they were doing and were so thorough in their checks. We cannot thank them enough for helping us and my Dad in what was a very emotional and scary situation. We thank you all with all our hearts.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of using North West Ambulance Service with us and for the kind words about our service, We were very pleased to hear of the excellent care and treatment that was provided to your Dad by our staff and that this continued when you reached the hospital. It was also very pleasing to hear how they looked after your Mum and helped to reassure her at such a frightening time.
