"Recent ELCS at The Diamond Jubilee Unit"

Having just had an elective c section at the lister maternity unit I wanted to leave a review to say how wonderful the whole team are.

From start to finish there wasn't enough that they could do to make sure I felt comfortable with what was happening. As my section was coming to an end there was an emergency that had to be rushed into the theatre as soon as possible so I was rushed out into the recovery area. The anaesthetist came to me in recovery once that was dealt with to apologise about the rush - it was no problem whatsoever but so kind that they thought to return to me as they are so busy. I felt safe and cared for throughout the procedure and the team had a great atmosphere between them.

Once moved to the ward all the staff I came across were exceptional and always had a smile. Our baby had to spend a short time in the special care unit and once again the team down there were fantastic. We were kept fully up to date with what was happening and were comforted to know our baby was being taken care of so well when we weren't there.
