"Non urgent care"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital

Yesterday I went to see my GPS who recommended I go to the hospital the same day and be seen urgently.

I waited at the doctors to be given an admission time.

After 2 Hours Blackpool Victoria Hospital failed to offer an admission time.

The doctor told me visit A&E and wrote specific instructions to be seen urgently.

After sitting in the waiting room for 8 hours and only having my bloods taken I had had enough to.

Being told a bed would be available in 30 Minutes for 4 hours in not my idea of patient care.

I eventually went home still in pain felling let down by the NHS.

This is not a complaint about the staff who were understanding but the system, it just doesn't work.......very disappointed
