"Treat for acute bacterial tonsillitis"

About: Barnet Hospital

I came to Barnet hospital via ambulance after collapsing at home with high fever. From the moment I was bought into A&E I was seen within 10 mins and escorted to a bed whereby I was placed under a drip and given antibiotics. The staff were friendly and worked very well handing over to one another - even sharing personal information such as family at home and kids that would make it more pleasant - rather just being another number on a chart. I was moved up to the day surgery unit and I can honestly say there are some very lovely staff on this unit working their socks off to provide ops service even when other functions may let it down. On my final day the kitchen staff where incredibly slow to answering to basics like fresh water but the nurse on ward was happy to get it for me. A very special thanks to three members of staff. You guys make all the difference and it's noticed so keep it up!

Thank you very much for your review. We're delighted to hear you were happy with your experience and will pass your comments on to the A&E department.
