"Disgusted"

About: Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust

Absolutely disgusted and so angry. 2 full days sitting in a waiting room to have an abcess removed from the bottom of the spine which has been confirmed as an emergency because its severely infected. Now to be told after already waiting 2 full days that I may have to come back for a 3rd day and wait another full day for a slot. 3 days of no food or drink and no pain killers, while supposedly there is poison being pumped around my body in my blood. Management doesn't want to face me the cowards so the poor nurse and kind registrar have had to comfort my anger as well as the other 3 patients who have been waiting with me for 2 days too. I appreciate there are emergencies that come before blood poisoning due to an abcess but honestly 2 days of neglect and false hope with the possibility of a 3rd or even 4th, is disgusting and I will be reporting my experience to the local MP!
