Last week my friend collapsed and was taken by ambulance to the North Middlesex Hospital.
From when she was assessed by the paramedic at about 1pm, until she was discharged from the A and E Department at 3am, her treatment was of a very good standard.
It was obvious that the staff had a huge workload but they remained calm, competent, courteous and professional.
The paramedics had quickly assessed that my friend's life was not in danger but I knew that she would have received appropriate attention if her condition had deteriorated.
The waiting time was made clear to all patients and carers from the minute they entered the Department.
I am writing this to say to all the Staff, 'Well done and thank you for your total professionalism when under overwhelming stress.
"well done"
