I had a ct scan and dye was injected. I wasnt told what the feelings would be. I panicked terribly during the scan because I didnt know I was to feel this horrible sensation I thought I was having a panic attack or something.I shouted out because I was scared by the feeling and I was told to keep still. It would be a good idea to let patients know what to expect.
"CT scans - please warn patients the injection may make them feel funny"
