"Orthopaedic outreach nurses"

About: King's Mill Hospital

I had partial knee replacement on 13th January 2016. I was pleased with the outpatient and preop assessment care I received prior to the operation from all staff including occupational therapy and physiotherapist.

I was only in hospital for 1 night following the operation during my brief stay ward 11 staff were caring. The surgeon and medical team appeared excellent with the care and in the information given both on ward 11 and in clinics.

Outreach Team.

Finally I would like to give a very special thank you to the 2 outreach nurses for their individual care and support both via visits and from telephone conversations. Their advice and care were excellent. and this helped me immensely following discharge. I am still convalescing and I have reached this stage easier with the support of the outreach nurses.
