"Urology department"

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

I had a Kidney removed due to a large Cancerous Tumour in 2012. I am supposed to have 6 monthly check ups, I had a CT Scan in November 2014 and the appointment where I receive my results to tell me if the cancer is back again or not was cancelled 9 times, after 5 months and still ongoing cancellations and no test results my GP transferred me to a different hospital.

The Urology secretary was incredibly rude and left me in tears and I received a very short reply from my Urologist when my GP challenged them about the delay in my results.

I can't even express how let down I felt by the Urology department at St Peters hospital.

When I contacted Pals they assured me I would be called back and yet I heard nothing. Its a disgrace.

We are extremely sorry and concerned to hear about your experience with our hospital.

This is not the service we strive for our patients.

Without more details it is difficult for us to comment further, but we would encourage you to contact the Service Manager Nohad Hamada on 01932 726329 or email nohad.hamada@asph.nhs.uk to discuss this further and investigate what happened so that we can make sure this doesn’t happen again.

We see that you’ve been in touch with PALS previously and we would encourage you to get back in touch.
