"Orthopaedic Department"

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

The doctor was excellent a reassuring and thorough approach to my care, I visited them today with a lot of trepidation after an appalling day in the Trust yesterday

They also managed the pain as a priority which I found impressive and very perceptive

Sadly I remained reliant on Aand E to correct an error they made yesterday which was only resolved by Persistant and The help of non clinical staff in Pharmacy and AE receptionists

I anticipate the follow appointment in 2 weeks will be an unnecessary expense on the health economy as the receptionist for service provider for MRI scans told me they could not tell me whether I would have the scan prior to the follow up appointment or whether the doctor would have the results

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback about your recent experience in our hospital.

We’re pleased to hear that the care you received from the doctor was of a high standard and that you felt reassured.

However, we are sorry and concerned to hear about the other issues you encountered and that you feel sceptical about your follow up appointment. This is not the care we strive to give to our patients. Without more details it is difficult to comment further about your case, but we would encourage you to contact our Patient Experience Team on 01932 723553 or email pals@asph.nhs.uk so that they can investigate these issues on your behalf.
