I was told by NHS Direct to go to the urgent care unit as I needed to be seen within 6 hours. I got there at 7.30am and left at 9am after being told that there were no doctors and the nurses didn't know when there would be any. Some people had been waiting since 5.30am. Having doctors seems pretty fundamental for a hospital.
