"Expelled all my fears of giving birth"

About: Queen Charlotte's Hospital

I gave birth to my son this February in the birth centre at Queen Charlottes and I can honestly say the staff and care I received was exceptional. I felt like I was in such safe hands the staff were so welcoming and reassuring. My partner was able to stay over night with me and we weren't rushed out or abandoned, even though you can tell they are short staffed and under equipped. It's a shame for example that I was allowed a free cup of tea after the birth but my partner wasn't. Such a shame the NHS can't afford a tea for a hardworking over emotional new dad.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust welcomes your feedback. Thank you for taking the time to express your kind appreciation for the care you received. We are very sorry to hear that your hardworking partner was not offered tea and would like to assure you that this is certainly not the usual practise. We extend all good wishes to to and your baby son.
