About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

(as the patient),

What I liked

ive been an out-patient of the maxillofacial unit for over a year, all the staff are amazingly helpful and so considerate of my needs, the staff can never do enough for their patients and are always going the extra mile for every patient no matter the time of year, staffing levels or busy-ness. Knowledgeable staff are always on hand whenever needed and receptionists get any extra information patients need, either in-house or during telephone contact

What could be improved

The site could do with some renovations, but everyone does the best with the faciliites they have on hand

Anything else?

staff of all levels combine their expertise and care to provide an excellent service. My continuing thankyou to you all through my treatment

Thank you for your kind comments. We will pass these on to the teams involved.

We note your comments about the site requiring renovations, I am sure you will appreciate what a large task this is, however you may be interested to read about our exciting plans for a Emergency Department at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, you can find out more at: http://www.uhmb.nhs.uk/news/item12.

We place great value in the fact that local people continue to choose our hospitals and we openly encourage patients and visitors to give us their feedback. This will enable us to continually to improve the services we offer and the experience our patients have whilst in our hospitals.
