"Makes other hospital look like child's play!"

About: The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust

Having had several scans and a failed nerve route, I was put on the waiting list for a microdisectomy on 9th Jan. I was called on the 18th to be admitted to the ward on 24th!

We arrived at the hospital and the staff were exceptionally helpful. I had organised a stay in the Syd Watkins building for my fiancée as we are coming from such a long way away. 25th, I went down for my op. The staff before hand were supportive to the highest levels.

After my op, my fiancée was waiting on the ward for me. The staff treated me with great respect and dignity. I was supported with decisions and allowed to progress at the rate I was comfortable with. I was discharged the following day.

Every member of staff was polite, friendly and the ward was very clean. My consultant is the nicest surgeon I have ever met! I had total faith in hithem m and a week after the op I was able to drive and my life is back on track. My pain is going and I feel the future is bright!

I will never go anywhere else now!

What a wonderful review. We are so glad that you had a great experience of our care. It sounds as though your fiancee stayed in our Home from Home Accommodation which we fundraised for, based in the Sid Watkins Building. Thank you so much for sharing your story. It will be shared with the rest of the team here.
