What I liked

i must admit i liked some of the staff on ward 17 but most were there to get paid not to care and think of how to help their paitents,

What could be improved

communication, patient care! there is no care on that ward apart from two nurses who acutally cared for my grandmother, my grandmother was not helped eating her food, it was placed in front of her and left, same with her water, she was not helped when she struggeled to go to the toilet which ended up her internally bleeding! this hospital needs more nurses who can care!

I would like to apologise that you feel the care on the ward was not satisfactory. We will be discussing the comments that you have raised with the ward team. We always try to do our best for all our patients and the teams work extremely hard to provide a high standard of care and myself or one of the matrons would be more than happy to meet up with you to discuss these in more detail if you would like to get in touch
