"We had first class service"

My son was recently sent to A&E (July) as he had been ill all over the weekend with vomiting/feeling weak. The whole team we saw were excellent, including the nurse, doctor and Consultant, he was put on fluids immediately and had an ECG, stomach x-ray, various other tests, and was monitored overnight as they suspected diabetes type 1. Unfortunately, the diabetes test came back positive, but the next day he was shown how to inject by diabetes nurse and given support and a dietician gave advice on healthy eating with diabetes. I dont believe he could have had better care anywhere else and this experience has opened my eyes to the fact that Stafford Hospital A& E has definitely undergone a change for the better and people should not be afraid to go there.
