"Vascular surgeon from MRI saved my life."

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

After a routine surgery at another hospital left me with a huge internal bleed, vascular surgeons from MRI were called in.

They took control, stopped the bleed and kept both me and my husband informed before transferring me to MRI ICU, where the care was amazing.

The staff were clinically excellent, kept me informed and included in my care plan and always went the extra mile at a time I felt scared and vulnerable.

I cannot thank them enough and I owe my life to the vascular surgeons.
