I attended this clinic for a first appointment where I had blood taken and a scan. Everything was fine up until the very last bit where I was taken into a room to be told what was seen on the scan. It wasn't positive news for someone who is desperate for IVF and whilst I appreciate that this information is 'very matter of fact' to the person giving it it is not so for a person receiving it. I was told based on the scan I was unlikely to receive help but I would have to wait 3 months when I would see a Dr who would look at all test results and give a definite answer. I understand and have no problem with a wait of 3 months but I do wonder why the clinic gives any information regarding the scan on the day of the first appointment. I also wonder if it would not be better for all of the information to be given when all test results have been viewed because in some cases and certainly my own I think its slightly cruel. I now have a horrible 3 month wait with a feeling of absolute negativity and dread regarding the next appointment.
Also the toilet in the clinic was a little scruffy and didn't flush properly.
"a pleasant experience until the review of scan"
