"Worst experience ever"

About: St Mary's Hospital (Manchester)

I thought expecting a baby was an happy event?

That's not how the staff made us feel like. It looked like we were in a factory. We were treated like pieces of meat. We had a nuchal scan scheduled and we handled 5 minutes in the room with the lady. First we were not informed that my wife had to come with a full bladder and second the lady was an horrible person with no skills nor customer service. She dared saying 'One more that comes with an empty bladder' to her colleague. On top of that, she was hurting my wife which is not really the main purpose I guess.

We ended up asking for our notes back and walked out.

If you're not happy with your job, it will be much appreciated to consider another career instead of passing on your bad energy to people.

Shame on her! Worst experience ever, we will certainly never come back there again!

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that your experience was not as positive as we would have expected within the Radiology Department. It is important to us that your feedback can be used to make changes and improvements wherever possible.

In response to your comment, I can tell you that we are looking at ways to improve the information we give to women to ensure all women understand how they can prepare themselves for the tests they are having.

Your concerns have been raised directly with the staff in the department involved so that they can look into them so that others don’t experience the same issues as you did.
