About: Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

What I liked

The hospital was very clean and welcoming, the staff were wonderfull and helped me through my recovery stage. I felt happy and secure in the hospital and the staff were always there if you wanted anything. They let me make my own choices and made me feel as comfortable as possible. The theatre staff are very supportive to me the patient aswell as my parents before and after the surgery. One thing that i was very pleased about was that one of my parents (mum) could stay with me throughout the night in pull down beds by the side of my hospital beds. This made me as the patient feel more relax and reassured. The hospital has great facilities for pateints and staff so that eveyone has the most pleasant stay they could possibly could.

What could be improved

I think the only improvement in the hospital is that the staff spend more time with the younger children such as playing games, on the ward i stayed on there was a play room but because the staff are so busy with all the patients you had to have an adult to go with you.
