"Satisfied patient"

About: West Cornwall Hospital (Penzance)

After being referred by my optician for the removal of a cataract I asked to attend Penzance Hospital .I was very satisfied with my first appointment to verify that it needed to be removed and the subsequent appointment for its removal. The staff were professional and very re assuring every step along the way. I was apprehensive about the procedure but I need not have worried as fears were explained and the whole procedure was painless and calm. The consultant, and all nurses and medical and ward staff were lovely. The hospital was spotless and I felt very proud and thankful that we have Penzance Hospital and indeed that we have Treliske at Truro as well. We have a wonderful National Health Service that we should do everything to maintain ,it is the finest in the world and is delivered free at the point of contact,we should praise every time we have a good experience and not complain unless something is

really wrong. The strain of providing healthcare to all for everything that can go wrong with our bodies and a lot of it is our own fault with the lifestyles we lead, must be a mammoth task for those who have to provide it, the biggest problem with the National Health is that there is just not enough money to go around .
