"A lack of manners"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

Had an MRI scan and appointments with Prof Hawkey, both very good. Helpful receptionists told us where to go and friendly nurse. Car Park was also accessible and easy to use as car meter was accessed in how long you had been there, not a guess. Was not impressed by the nurse that took my blood that I felt rudely requested I went back to get all details for the blood from there. The nurse also injected a vein that had been used to his knowledge on the day before . This did not leave me with a good impression because of a lack of manners.

Thank you for taking the time to inform us of your recent experience at the hospital.

I am pleased that you found the receptionists helpful, the car park accessible and your scan and appointment good.

I am sorry however that your experience with the nurse was not a good one.

I shall forward your comments on to the hospital, as they take all information like this seriously.

Best wishes
