This hospital gives you the feeling of care. The pre assessment prior to my operation was very punctual, no waiting. On the day of my operation I was very very anxious as I had never had a procedure involving general anaesthetic. My arrival time was 1pm along with 5 other patients. I was taken to my room. I was put at ease by the kind nurses, great consultant and friendly anaesthetist. However, I wasn't taken to the theatre until 7pm, a long wait. I think I was the last one to be seen. The operation took 45 minutes. The nurse in the recovery room was brilliant, I was taken back to my room given tea and biscuits and monitored by another lovely nurse and discharged at 11pm.
All the team from the porter to the surgeon were fantastic and made me feel at ease. I would like to thank everyone.
