"Excellent service at a worrying time."

About: Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

My granddaughter was transferred here as an emergency as NMGH had no idea what was wrong with her (not blaming them at least they were honest, kept us informed and got a second opinion and their care was excellent).

She was seen by a surgeon within 30 minutes who diagnosed the problem straight away - what a relief.

The care on ward 77 was great and we were kept informed every step of the way.

She has to return in the next few weeks for an operation and even though we are understandably anxious about this, we take comfort that she will be looked after by people who know what they are doing. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments about your granddaughter’s experience at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital recently.

It was reassuring to hear about your positive experience at what must have been a worrying time. It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is always helpful to be able to share positive feedback which reflects their hard work and dedication.

I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the Surgical Management Team and the Ward Manager for Ward 77 so they can be shared with their staff.
