My granddaughter was transferred here as an emergency as NMGH had no idea what was wrong with her (not blaming them at least they were honest, kept us informed and got a second opinion and their care was excellent).
She was seen by a surgeon within 30 minutes who diagnosed the problem straight away - what a relief.
The care on ward 77 was great and we were kept informed every step of the way.
She has to return in the next few weeks for an operation and even though we are understandably anxious about this, we take comfort that she will be looked after by people who know what they are doing. Thank you.
"Excellent service at a worrying time."
