About: Darlington Memorial Hospital

I would like to thank the staff of Ward14 for the excellent care my mother received this week both in A&E and ward14. She is elderly with dementia but was given a non discriminatory medical work up using the excellent resources of the hospital. She was treated with care, respect and dignity and I am proud of the NHS for which I also work.

In the short time she was in the ward she saw several nurses, a junior doctor and a consultant who also took the time to explain to me what was happening and also try to find out more about her.

A kind HCA also made me a cup of coffee.
