"Gallbladder removal under NHS."

I had been told it would be a very long wait at my local hospital in Brighton to even see a Consultant let alone have my gallbladder removed which was what I would need. I rang the NHS team at the Montefiore and asked if there was a surgeon who carried out gallbladder removals on NHS and if I could be referred under the Choose & Book scheme. I got an appointment within a few weeks. The consultant was brilliant and kind and my surgery was scheduled about six weeks later to fit in with my work schedule. Hospital was very clean and staff friendly, efficient and accommodating. They put me at ease and the surgery went very well. Anaesthetist was also brilliant and reassuring. Would recommend the hospital very highly.
