"Amazing care and staff"

Unfortunately my much wanted pregnancy ended in a stillbirth so emotions were/are very high.

The care I received from the staff in the delivery suite helped me cope with the awful position I was in. The midwife who cared for me deserves recognition for the work they do. They kept me focused on the delivery and had the patience of a saint in dealing with me. On top of that they came in on their day off to check on me and ended up delivering my baby.

During my stay I was allowed time with my baby girl and had a meltdown with grief during the night. A midwife stayed with me and helped me dress my baby and took my most treasured photos. Without them I would have no memories of my baby and I would absolutely love to see them again and give them a massive hug.

Thank you also to the member of staff for hunting for cheese at night as it was the only thing that could tempt me to eat.

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of daughter and sadly there are no words that can make it any easier. Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your experience and the compassion and kindness of the midwives who looked after you during your stay. We are very proud to have such caring staff as members of our team and it is at times like this that it becomes apparent how important it is to people such as yourself who have to cope with such tremendous loss.
