My mother spent nearly 3 weeks in the InPatients department at the hospital.
Initially I was upset that it was 45 minute drive away to go and see her, but I soon realised what a great place she was in.
It felt like the type of hospital from days gone by.
Great staff, nurses, reception, healthcare assistants, OT, physios.
The space, quiet and cleanliness were brilliant and the care my mum received was fantastic.
The physio department did such a great job that she was in a better state than before her fall.
Thank you to everyone concerned at Maple Ward for her care.
