"Treatment for Vestibular Rehabilitation..."

About: Springfield Hospital

I visited the hospital last Summer ('15) with dizziness and a general feeling of anxiousness and unease. I was seen by a Neurologist who sent me for a Brain MRI which thankfully came back normal and so I was sent to see the Physio department to see if they could rehabilitate the Vestibular disturbance I was suffering.

They were so understanding, helpful and tailored the treatment to my individual needs. When I first went I was unable to walk into busy areas due to the feeling of dizziness and watching TV and my children jumping around was becoming difficult.

After 7 sessions and a lot of exercises (which we amended each time depending on my improvement) I have now been discharged and am back to 95% normal. The final push I am able to continue myself. The difference it has made to my life is amazing, I feel like a normal person again. My physiotherapist who fortunately specialises in this area is magnificent and I would highly recommend. Thank you.
