"Vascular Surgery appointment bookings"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

Does this Department actually have a booking system? Each of the last three appointments for my father have run 1 hour; 2 hour and, today 1 hour late - all for appointments booked in the mornings.

the NHS, rightly, reminds patients not to miss appointments or be late - what a shame the same doesn't apply to your systems.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience your father has experienced in our Vascular Surgery clinic. Unfortunately, hospital clinics do sometimes overrun as some patients may take longer than others to be seen. The nursing staff do try to keep patients waiting advised of any such delays and we are sorry if this has not happened when your father has attended.

We have recorded your comments and shared your experience with senior management for the Vascular Surgery clinic. We record and monitor all feedback, positive and negative, about the experiences our patients have.
