"Excellent experience"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital

Was admitted for knee replacement on 14th January. Although this nearly didn't go ahead because of a bed crisis I was lucky enough to be admitted and the op went ahead. From start to finish I cannot critisise the treatment I received. I was fully informed at every level and was able to make well informed decisions of my care. I was discharged after 48 hours and this was ideal for me. I have no pain just a sore leg which is only to be expected. I am able to walk confidently with minimal support. Thank you BVH for helping me towards a pain free future

Hello Irene

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent experience. As you have described we have been especially busy recently but it is good to know that your planned operation went ahead as planned and that you have recovered so well.

I will share your experience with the teams involved in your care and treatment

Thank you once again for taking the time to post your experience.

Andrew
