I attended a&e 6 times due to ongoing abdominal pain which I had constantly for 4 months! Referred to different people who didn't know what the problem was, one point I was told it was all in my head, put on various different tablets! One nurse even asked me if I was withdrawing from alcohol as I was getting palpitations after having morphine bare in mind I had my work uniform on! My final admission where I got the issue sorted was the one which was okayish!! Your nurses and doctors need to remember we can hear what you say about us especially "can we discharge her"then after being made to wait 3.5 hours in a lot of pain and then asked why I hadn't asked for pain relief? Ridiculous!
"A&e need to listen to patients more!"
