"awful service A&E and EAU"

About: Salford Royal

A&E was not bothered when I went into triage the nurse said due to my condition and history I will be put you in straight away to be seen by the doctor I would be seen next the nurse would put it as priority the nurse put me in the waiting room without any examination just asked my problem after waiting over 3 hrs whilst minors were seen before me at least 20 people had gone in whilst I was waiting I questioned when I will be seen as the same nurse I saw earlier was the same nurse said they will check we had to go up to her 2 times before they took me into a cubicle and said sit on the bed after waiting nurses were busy chating to each other about there own personal stuff going on the internet showing each other cars they had bought etc wasting time when they could be seeing patients I questioned when will I be seen they said you have to wait after waiting 45 minutes a nurse came didnt examine me just asked my problem and then said tomorrow you will be seen by your own consultant as a new policy consultants work on a saturday now so its a promise you will be seen then a nurse did my blood pressure and then I was transferred to eau where the nurses said I would see a consultant in the morning and when morning came they said there are no notes for you to see the consultant or even a registra but we will get a registra to come and see you as no consultants are in today this information was worrying and false information was fed to me through the whole process of admitted into to a&e and eau...Then a physio person turned up started to examine my legs without even asking what the problem was and soon as they had finished they said you ok and ready to go home now which alrmed me as no questions to how I was feeling what the problem was and go home when I asked them they said I work with all consultants they have sent me down and now your ready to go home you can see the consultants in clininc no need to be here.. Physio only comes after post operations not before if you have not been seen by a consultant before hand I found that weired and wrong and it was a shamble just trying to get rid of patients she didnt even ask what my problem was until I questioned them and I could have arranged to see the consultant myself through my own gp the purpose was I was in severe pain and still am they also said no need for a scan that can be done in clinic too next time I come I could not feel no sensation in my grown my leg was heavy and could feel worse symptoms than I had before my first 2 operations I had been advised by my consulta to come staright to a&e if this was to accure again and previously my own gp had booked me into hospital with same symptoms before this time I was also sent home by a&e which my gp was not happy with it has happened to me again I will be reporting back to my gp first thingon monday...
