"Gallbladder removal - Day Surgery"

I had keyhole surgery 6 days ago and feel extremely pleased with the care I received.

The nurse who took care of me on the Day Surgery ward was lovely and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed.

I was very nervous as this was the first time I had had an operation, but after speaking to the surgeon and anaesthetist all my questions were answered.

They did a great job and all went to plan. The cuts have healed well already and am feeling nearly back to normal. The scarring should be very minimal.

Cannot thank the hospital enough. Hearing horror stories (online) about this procedure really put doubts in my mind about having it, but am so glad that I did.

Calderdale Royal is a credit to the NHS, I also had my 2 daughters there and the staff were fabulous then too. So glad this is my local hospital.
