"Wonderful staff at Radiology Dept"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

I attended the Radiology Department on Monday 11th January for a flouroscopy on my hip (injection of dye) before my MRI scan.

I suffer with anxiety and once lay on the bed I started to feel very anxious. I informed the staff and they we're absolutely brilliant. I talk a lot when I'm anxious and the staff were really understanding and let me talk away.

I was told what was happening at each stage of the procedure and although uncomfortable it was painless. I would like to thank the staff who looked after me that afternoon. I was made to feel at ease during a very stressful time for me. The MRI wasn't as bad as I thought. If anyone is due to have this procedure do nothing t worry. You are in excellent hands.

I'm sure other patients will be greatly reassured by your comments, which are really helpful and much appreciated. Thank you
