"poole hospital gynaecologist no help after 7 years of pain"

at the age of 23 i was diagnosed with chronic p.i.d (Pelvic inflammatory disease), this meant many a month in hospital hooked up to a intravenous antibiotic drip, which would stop the excruciating pain for all of a week, i had 3 x laparoscopy’s one with dye test, the first (after 3months) showed my uterus and some pelvic area affected, the second ( 9months) showed more of the pelvic area affected and also my fallopian tubes and the last (12months ) showed my pelvis ,fallopian tube, uterus and my ovaries were affected, the slightest touch would make any of these bleed and was excruciating and would cause me to loose fresh blood , it was after this time that it was agreed to operate to remove my uterus and fallopian tubes as no more could be done for these and the likely hood of having further children ( i have 1 daughter) was impossible and dangerous to myself, so at the age of 24 i had a hysterectomy, the diagnoses was that i should be pain free for up to 5 years at which point i would have to have my ovaries removed, but after only 12 months the pain was back, i was referred to a pain management doctor who told me i had incurred damage to the rectal sheaf and would require nerve blocking treatment, i had this for a year and then referred back to the gynae team at poole hospital, as the pain was now coming monthly and at the same time of the month each time, my consultant said that I needed to have my ovaries removed as this was the most likely cause, so off i trot, (well waddle), back to them, i have seen a consultant at poole hospital who said the same as my gp and pain consultant, that it looked like it was my ovaries and suggested that i had 3 x monthly injections of zoladex , a scan and hrt and to come back in 4 months, if the pain went away whilst doing this she would operate to remove them, i went back (1 week ago) after doing this and she said that as i didn't stay on the hrt for the full length of time (i came off it as i had a few mood swings and headaches, i did check to see if this was o.k with my gp and he could see know reason why not as it was only short term), that she wanted me to have a further 3 months on the zoladex and stay on the hrt and if all was o.k she would operate, i got rather upset and broke down in floods of tears as the prospect of having to wait yet again and having to put my life on hold while she made her mind up was devastating to me, she said that due to my age she had to make sure she was happy to operate, i told her about the fact that i have been in pain since i was 22 and she said that she would have a meeting to discuss my case and get back to me, i received a letter from her saying she wouldn't do it due to my age and my gp may wish to seek a second opinion, i'm now 29 and no further forward, without the zoladex i need a walking stick to get about and i am bed bound for up to 5 days a month, my gp and my pain consultant have told her this, but I feel she has run away from my problem and given up on me, i just need someone to help me.
