Travelled from Aldershot, Hampshire to Chertsey, Surrey. Easy to find the hospital. Very confusing once inside the hospital, finding your way around. However a member of the nursing staff from a different department offered us help, and walked us some distance to where we needed to be. Despite arriving over one hour early, we were made very welcome by the receptionist, who made myself and my mother Pamela, a hot drink on a very cold day. Even better we were seen earlier than our appointment. The Clinical Physiologist was absolutely outstanding. They explained everything to my mother and I (Son, Kevin). Whilst the examination was in progress we both talked very comfortably about our lives and the background we came from. This in turn made my 81 year old mother relax and no longer worry about the EEG examination.
I would like both the Physiologist and the receptionist to be formally identified and thanked for their exceptional service and warmth they displayed.
Yours sincerely Kevin.
"A credit to our NHS."
