"Great Allergy service at SRH"

My little girl was born with a milk and egg allergy and a possible allergy to preservatives in other foods. We have been dealt with very well by the doctor and their paediatric team at Sunderland Royal. My daughter grew out of her milk allergy quickly but her egg allergy has lingered on until she reached 6 years old, we have had numerous allergy tests, skin, blood and egg challenge tests, which were held for a full day on F64. She has been well looked after and i feel the service has really helped us with her day to day routine, obviously having to read labels on everything can become difficult and worrying when she was in nursery and school, not knowing exactly what she was eating but she has been tested reguarly to keep an eye on her and to see if things have improved so that is helpful.

I hear there is no adult allergy service within Sunderland Royal and i think this would be a great addition to SRH services.
