"child not attended to for 6 hrs"

About: Royal United Hospital

After being refferd to the RUH with 1.5 year child with bad cold, and waiting over 6 hrs to 1. 30 in the morning decided enoughs enough and left after complaining to reception and signing a discharge form . Only to have police raid at 4.30 am organised by Bath RUH to force us awake. And sending out ambulance . Police and paramedic to diagnose our childs cold and return back to the RUH to spend further 5 hrs so someone else can diagnose our childs bad cold. Unbelievable nanny state interferance amounting to huge waste of time , resources and day off work for us. Moral of story for us is to keep away from Bath RUH.
