"The opthalmology out-patients department"

About: King's Mill Hospital

I was referred urgently by my GP and was seen the next day at King's Mill Hospital. Because of my eye problems, I was seen a further 4 times between September and December 2015. On each occasion, I was seen by a different ophthalmologist, but each time I felt able to ask questions about my eye condition and the treatment, and each time, my questions were answered completely, with compassion and care. At every stage they were reassuring and professional in their manner.

Even when I needed to see them urgently, due to continuing problems, they were able to give me an appointment quickly.

I cannot thank them enough for their excellent care.
