I must place on record my sincere thanks to the members of your staff who have been so kind and helpful over the past few months regarding my husbands forthcoming surgery..

I have on several occasions had to speak to the consultants secretary and at all times they have been the epitome of efficiency and kindness no matter how many times I had to call.

My husband's operation is due to be carried out soon so today we had to visit the Pre Assessment Ward in the surgery unit and again we were overwhelmed by the quality of care and kindness displayed by the Senior pre-assessment staff. Julie looked after my husband with such great care, making him feel at ease and giving him a thorough MOT.

We oldies do feel we are taking up a lot of NHS resources when having to attend hospital but we were put at our ease when staff explained in detail the procedures we had to follow.. Truly an excellent ambassador for the quality of care in the QE.
