"Colonoscopy Hell"

A young trainee nurse tried to administer my pre-med and missed the vein completely.
Unaware of this I consented to and went through the procedure.
The discomfort in the main was tolerable until the doctor tried to straighten out a double cork screw twist in the lower bowel. It was horrendously painful and something I would not like to go through again, without pain relief

I am very sorry you experienced such discomfort and pain, I can understand how very distressing this was for you. I would like to look into this further to ensure there is learning within the Trust to prevent this happening again.
