"Car parking after traumatic birth"

Disgusted that I have received a parking ticket for £85 I had just been discharged from the RUH. I have found out a month later as my vehicle is a company one so work have just notified me. Being on statutory maternity pay this is a lot of money for us to pay. (Two full time working parents with low income coming in now).

We attended the maternity department After an 11 night stay at the a RUH having had my first child. He had been in intensive care and I required a blood transfusion so my husband and I were shattered and not on form and perhaps did not put our car number plate into the machine whilst waiting for an appointment with our new born baby.
