I was recently admitted for a mitral valve (minimum invasive surgery) and was quite anxious pre procedure. All members of the medical team, the surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, health care assistants and physiotherapists were extremely reassuring which put me in a more positive frame of mind.
The surgery was over and done with before I knew it and the after care was faultless. Again, the team who were caring for me were very efficient and approachable and gave me easy to understand verbal information regarding my after care. I was discharged three days after successful surgery and am now well on my way to a complete recovery.
