A glass broke whilst I was washing up and I sliced my thumb/hand, I really didn't want to be an A&E time-waster but after ringing the walk in clinic they recommended A&E. It was a Saturday afternoon so I was apprehensive about long waits. I had a very professional welcome at reception and patients were being seen very quickly. I saw a lovely nurse who put me at ease and recommended an X ray in case there was any glass. I was X rayed very quickly and back in to get the wound dressed. All in all I may be have been there over an hour and that went quickly.
Was very happy with my treatment.
