I was admitted to st johns hospital livingston on 16th December after being diagnosed as having had a heart attack.
During the initial assessment stage I was treated with care and consideration and made to feel as relaxed as possible given the circumstances! I was transferred to Edinburgh royal infirmary on 18th December for angiogram and stent, ward 103. My treatment from beginning to end was professional, compassionate and in every way reassuring. I was kept informed and given all relevant information for me to make a rational decision before consenting to the procedure. I wish to pass on my heartfelt [humour] appreciation to all the staff especially an exceptional male nurse; and person and the main consultant I spoke to who exudes calm, wisdom and confidence. These are the people most deserving of the public's support and admiration in today's society.
"I wish to pass on my heartfelt appreciation to all the staff"
