"Non arrival of Ambulance"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

Nose bleed started and hadn't stopped nearly 3 hours later so dialled 999. Details given & told that an ambulance would be dispatched. Having given instructions that best access was at rear of house I went outside & waited. After 40 mins I was starting to urge & then vomited up congealed blood. Started to become weak & disorientated.

Fortunately neighbour returned from work just before 11pm & spotted me wandering around bleeding & spluttering. They called 999 to find out where the ambulance was & suggested she drive me directly to Musgrove.
