What I liked

Every member of staff were very outstanding in making me feel welcome and at ease they all ensured that i was comfortable and understood about my treatment .

A Colonoscopy was required and i was a little nervous .

One nurse sat with me a week earlier explaining and encouraged me to attend the following week for the colonoscopy following a stool test which showed i required more investigation .The nurse really made me feel that i should attend and i felt so supported they also said not to worry everyone understood the patients and would ensure that they are comfortable .

Without the talk from this nurse i probally would have chickened out however as you can read i did come back the following week

However the nurses and doctors certainly were very understanding and i soon started to feel relaxed .

The whole procedure was done and everything explained to me .

All the staff were wonderful and its about time they were reconized for this .

Anyone reading this please dont be put off or frighted to have a Colonscopy it can be life saving .

If i every have to go back and have another one i certainly will .

Also thankyou staff nurses and doctors in the Department of Endoscopy at Royal Hospital Cornwall And a speicial thankyou to that nurse you know who you are but we cannot put names on here
