Today I attended the Angiogram Unit for an angiogram procedure. Although I am confident with the East Surrey Hospital I was extremely impressed with the professional standards of Dr Iqbal and his lovely team. I was immediately reassured in the lab and was kept notified as to what was taking place. To be honest if it hadn't been a medical investigation on myself, I could almost say I enjoyed it! Painless an anxiety and free!
Then I moved on to the recovery area and further professionalism was enjoyed. All of the nursing staff were brilliant and I didn't get all the names, but would like you thank all of them for what they are achieving. Tanya and Alice were particularly good with sense of humour to match, so important.
We do hear of the negative problems but considering there were no beds available when I arrived at 0800, and clearing them in time for the incoming appointments was nothing short of amazing.
Well done all of you!
