"Blood tests after chemo"

About: Victoria Infirmary (Northwich) / General medicine

(as a relative),

At Northwich Infirmary (VIN) Mum and I had been waiting for blood test. The kind nurse who was doing it informed us that we just needed to knock and put in the blood form, so that Mum wouldn't be sitting near others because her immunities might have been compromised by the chemo. Thank you for taking the time.

Thank you for taking the time to put your comments on NHS Choices. The staff providing phlebotomy at Northwich know how much this service is valued by local people and make every effort to provide a safe, friendly and efficient service and I am pleased to know that this was the case for your mum. I will ensure your thoughts are passed on to the staff concerned who will be pleased to have this feedback

Best Wishes
